Researching The Market Place

Because there are many versions of magazines that focus on alternative and rock music my  magazine might have quite a bit of competition. I think the biggest magazine competition will be NME and Kerrage. Each of the magazines focuses on ether indie (NME) or rock (Kerrage) but by combining both types of music into one magazine I am able to appeal to a wider range of people.

Regular content: reviews section, gig guide, live reports, the best new music, news, interviews

Feature articles: the biggest bands, the latest on festivals.

Kerrang!:

Feature articles: the biggest band at the moment, exclusives, and announcements.
